I enjoyed Pimp my Lesson very much. I gained
a lot from brainstorming with my peers, and I decided to incorporate a new app called “educreation” into my class. It worked really
well!
I taught my 3rd Graders a song called “Going to the Market.” The song
is about a farmer who goes to the market and buys five different kinds of animals. We
learned the vocabulary, meaning and melody of the song. Then the students were assigned to
use the app “educreation.” They wrote, drew, and recorded themselves and shared their creations with the class. Everyone was engaged and you could feel the energy in the classroom!!!
My biggest takeaway from the lesson was that the students enjoyed using technology and I will definitely incorporate it again in my future lesson plans!
